Volti Subito Piano Club is open to my students who are in the Level C books or beyond.   Our meetings include: student performances, ensemble playing, music theory, ear training, study of performance practices, music history, and music games.  Eligible students will receive an invitation and details when they are ready to join.  Invitations are extended in August and January.  Membership is optional.

"Volti Subito"  means to turn quickly.  The abbrieviation v.s is sometimes used in music to alert the performer to turn the page quickly.  I chose this name for our group because I think of the turn of the page  representing the change and progress that is exhibited by our young musicians who are moving ahead.  Another reason for the name choice is because I have always found humor in warning a performer "volti subito." (Really, what other choice is there?)
